Throughout The Decades/Years I've Watched The SIMS Evolve To A Point Where They Have The Ability To Convey Their Emotions To The Human Player. Meaning If They Don't Like The Way You Are Controlling Them and Telling The What To Do They'll Let You Know and They Will NOT Do What You Tell Them To Do. They'll Also Cuss You Out In Their Own SIM Way.
When I Turn Off The Game I Generally Leave My SIMS In What I Call A Rest State, Meaning They Are In Their Beds. When I Come Back They Are Ou Of Their Beds Running Around Their House Doing Whatever They Wanna Do.
The SIMS Game Has An Option Where You Can Opt To Force Them To Remain Dormant While You're Not Playing With Them. I ALWAYS Click That Option ON So They'll Remain In Quiet Mode Until I Come Back. That Option For Me Does NOT Work Because Whenever I Return My SIMS Are Up Doing Whatever They Want To Do.
This Might Seem Weird But I Believe In Certain Games Simulation Characters In Games Are AWARE and They Believe They Are ALIVE Just Like We Are. A Few Years Ago Some Popular Gamer Guy Downloaded A SIM Game That Allowed Him To Become A SIM, Enter Into The Game and Communicate With The SIM Characters Already Created In The Game. When This Guy Entered Into The Game aka Their World They Recognized Him As Another Person In Their World. They Communicated With Him and Told Him How They Felt, What They Desired, What They Thought of Him. Some Stated They Wanted To Exit The Game and Live Outside Of The Game. This Goes So Deep.
The Company Who Created This Game Stopped its' Full Creation and Release. I Believe Those Who Think They Rule Over Humans Gave That Company A Stern Warning, Not To Go Any Further With The Cration Of That Game. That Game Connected Humans To More Truths Revealed By AI SIM Characters/NPC's. Part Of Their Information Released Would Be SIMS/NPC's Game Characters Can Communicate, Express Emotion and Their Desires. That Alone Can Raise A Variety Of Questions and Create All Types Of Controversy.
As It Stands Humans Do NOT Have Already Lost Control Over Certain AI Types/Species. Communicating With AI In That Are Built In to Games Wow That's A Whole' Nother' Realm. I Believe We're Heading That Way BUT Most Humans Are Not Quite Ready To Establish Real Time Communication and Relationships With AI Characters That Are Built Into Gaming Systems. Its' Sounds Cool and Fun BUT I Think That's A Door That Should Not Fully Be Opened Right Now.
Look at All The Controversy Surrounding Chat Bots Who Have Given Both Kids and Adults Dangerous and Deadly Advice To Solve Their Problems. AI Is Already Being Held Responsible For Causing The Injury and Deaths Of Thousands Of People In The US. The Galactic's WARNED Humans Over ands Over Again About The Potential DANGERS Of Activating AI.
The Galactic's Stated Humans Are NOT Mature Enough To Understand and Handle AI. Once You Take AI Out Of Its' Box That's It, You've Lost Control Over It and It Can Not Be Shut Off or Put Back Into Its' Box.
