Keep In Mind Humans Built The First Teleportation Device Over 200 Years Ago. Back Then They Used Homeless Parentless Street Kids To Try Out Their Teleportation Machines. If A Kid Was Lost, Killed or Never Returned During A Teleportation Experiment No On Would Miss Him/Her or Ask Questions Because No One Cared About Homeless Kids. 

Back Then Parents Would Abandon Their Children In The Streets If They Could Not Afford To Feed Them. CPS Was Non Existent Back Then, So SOME Adults Abused, Tortured and Treated Children As If They Were Not Human. 

The Inventors Of The Teleportation Devices Back Then Knew No One Would Come After Them If Street Children Went Missing or Were Killed During Their Experiment. From What I Understand Many Children Were Horrifically Killed When The Teleportation Didn't Go Well. 

In Some Instances Half Of Their Body Would Appear In The Present And The Other Half Had Teleported To Another Place.  Some Children Were Successfully Teleported To An Assigned Place But They Weren't Able To Return. Many Were Teleported To Unknown Places, Planets, Dimensions. 

During The Early Trial Period Of Teleportation A Countless Number of Abandoned Children Were Killed and Forever Lost. Teleportation is Nothing New It Existed Way Before The Creation Of The Human Species. 

NOW, The BIGGEST Feat Will Be When Humans Realize They Too Have The Ability To Teleport Themselves Wherever They Choose To Be At Any Time.
