Foot Binding In China

A beauty that cost broken bones, blood, and a lifetime of pain. This was foot binding in China, a brutal practice that marked entire generations of women. From the age of 4 or 5, thousands of girls were subjected to intentional fractures of their foot bones, which were then wrapped with increasingly tighter bandages to force them into a tiny, arched shape known as "lotus feet." Over time, the toes curled inward and the heel curved forward, resulting in feet no taller than 10 centimeters. 

This mutilation was not a rarity, but a symbol of status, femininity, and obedience in imperial China, especially among the upper classes, where reduced mobility was considered a sign that a woman did not need to work. 

The small, intricately embroidered slippers called "lotus shoes" were more art than footwear, designed to beautify what was in reality a permanent open wound. Although it may seem unthinkable today, this tradition remained alive for more than a thousand years until it was finally banned in 1912, leaving behind indelible physical and cultural scars.

In Certain Parts Of Africa There Is/Was a A Barbaric Practice Where At The Young Age of 8 Years Old They'd Literally Perform Female Circumcision on Girls Between The Ages Of 6-8 Years Old.   

Female Circumcision Involves Chopping Of A Girls Clitoris. WHY Would Anyone Do This To A Female? To Keep Her From Experiencing Any 'Normal' Sexual Feelings/Urges. If She Doesn't Have Sexual Urges She'll Be Considered 'Pure and Untouched' When She Marries. 

This Is The Disgusting Way MEN Think When It Comes To Women In Certain Countries. ONLY A Low Life Piece Of Shit Man Could Have Thought Of Doing Something So Barbaric To An 8 Year Old Female. No Woman Would Ever Think Of Mutilating Her Private Area For The Sake of A Man.
