Tumors are like pearls that protect an oyster from a foreign particle that has gotten inside it.
It’s also why we get bumps in our ear lobes in response to an earring.
In fact, over the course of our life, we will get many growths, polyps, cysts, tumors etc. that grow, do their job and then recede.
Of course, sometimes they grow uncontrollably. What that suggests is that there’s even deeper psychospiritual wounds to heal in a particular area.
For example, I did a lot of healing with an ex who had some ovarian cysts. Of course, the doctors wanted to do a million different invasive things but she opted not to.
With plant medicine we did together she uncovered some sexual trauma, and we worked through it using techniques like somatic therapy.
Then what do ya know, she goes back for a follow up scan 6 months later and the doctors are puzzled at how the cysts are gone.
They were almost kind of disappointed because they lost their profit potential.
There’s a whole new branch of cancer research known as German New Medicine that studies the psycho-physiological causes of growths and cancer. It is certainly not an exact science as it is in its infancy, but it is very compelling and correlates very closely with the emotional trauma people experience.
For example I worked with a client who had prostate cancer, and before we even met I wondered if he had a highly toxic relationship that involved child custody issues and sexual issues.
Well sure enough, his alcoholic now decreased ex-wife withheld sex from him for years and also deceived the courts and had his son taken from him until he could finally prove she was lying.
Relational matters directly involving sex and child rearing affect the prostate gland. And as his unresolved energy began to clear so did his cancer as he eventually went into remission.
It should, of course, be noted that rarely if ever are relationships completely one-sided as far as toxicity goes.
