In 1903, John D. Rockefeller founded the General Education Board. He personally funded the restructuring of the American public school system. His advisor, Frederick T. Gates, wrote in the Board's first publication:

The man who funded your school system openly stated that the goal was NOT education. The goal was OBEDIENCE. The goal was to create a workforce that follows instructions, asks no questions, and never challenges the system.
Before Rockefeller's intervention, the American education system was very different. Children learned critical thinking, classical languages, philosophy, astronomy, music theory, and rhetoric. They studied the works of ancient civilizations. They were taught HOW to think, not WHAT to think.
After Rockefeller, the curriculum was drastically cut. Philosophy was replaced by "social studies." Classical languages were replaced by rote learning. Music theory was replaced by standardized tests. And history was rewritten to erase any reference to civilizations that operated outside the control system.
Civilizations like Tartaria.
That's why you never heard the word "Tartaria" in school. Not because it didn't exist—but because the man who designed your school didn't want you to know about its existence.
The school bell rings like a factory bell. The desks are arranged like on an assembly line. The day is divided into shifts. You raise your hand to speak. You ask permission to use the restroom. Your obedience is assessed.
You weren't educated. You were programmed.😉
