A Dutch review committee has now ruled that the country’s first euthanasia of a child under 12 was carried out with “due care.”
The child was nearly two years old.
Born at 26 weeks, he had severe brain damage, cerebral palsy, visual impairment, drug-resistant seizures, and profound difficulty breathing and swallowing.
His developmental age was estimated at about six weeks.
He could not communicate.
He could not request death.
He was not reported to be imminently dying.
Parents and doctors agreed to actively end his life under rules expanded in 2024 to cover children ages 1 to 12.
The committee wrote that “all facets of ‘being human’–regarding motor skills, behavior, and personality–were severely impaired and were not going to improve.”
That language is now on the official record.
So is the precedent.
This is the first known case under the new framework.
Officials once estimated it would be used only a handful of times a year.
Prosecutors still have a formal review ahead.
The threshold, however, has already been crossed: a toddler who could not speak for himself had his life ended by the state-authorized medical system, and the system called it careful.
If a government can formally conclude that a two-year-old lacked the “facets of being human,” the debate is no longer theoretical.
The line has already been drawn… and crossed.
Where, exactly, is the next one?
Once a society accepts that medically handicapped children may be killed because their lives are judged insufficiently human, what remains of the line at all?

MY COMMENTARY: The Next Medical Hurdle To Overcome Will Be 'Who Has The Right To Decide Who Live/Dies Based On Disability and Health Issues. I've Been Talking About This Topic In Detail For Over 10 Years. Sadly Assisted Suicide Along With Medical Euthanasia Has Weaseled Its' Way Into Reality.
ONE Of My BIGGEST Concern Is 'Who Gets To Make This Life Ending Decision For Persons Who Can Not Speak For Themselves? Who Would Be Given The Right To Make That Decision For Someone Who's Not Able To Speak For Themselves? How Does Anyone Determine A Persons Quality Of Life?'
I Was Born With A Physical Disabilty and My Quality Of Life Is Good For Me, But Someone Else Might Think I'm Suffering Because I Am Disabled So Should I Have Been Medically Euthanized Because Of My Physical Disability? I Think The Fuck NOT..
I Know There A MILLION and One Different Circumstances That Can Go Into Why A Person Should Be Allowed To Partake In Assisted Suicide But Euthanasia Is A Different Ball Game. Euthanasia Leaves The CHOICE To The Medical Profession To Say Its' Ok To End This Persons Life Because He/She Is Not Perfect.
Maybe I Feel This Way Because I Know The Healthcare System On This Planet Is Mainly About PROFIT and Its' Controlled By Unscrupulous Demons Who Don't Give A Rats Ass About Saving and Preserving Human LIFE. These Low Life Motherfuckers Have Full Access To Natural and Technological CURES That Could Have Easily Reversed This Childs Diagnosis, But What Did They Choose? They Chose To Euthanize Him.
Let Me Get This Straight, Let Me Put This FOOT NOTE: Out There MOST Healthcare Professionals Are Completely Unaware of The Healing Technologies That Are Available and Have Been Available Since The 1950's. Sadly People Work In The Healthcare Profession Were Taught and Licensed By Those Psychopathic Murdering DEMONS Who Literally Feed Off Of The Pain and Suffering, Death Of Humans.
Healing and Curing Humans
1- Means BIG Pharma Loses Tons Of Money Cause There Aint' No Money To Be Made When Humans Are Happy and Healthy.
2- DEMONS Who Feed Off Of The Suffering of Humans Wont Get Fed If They Did The RIGHT Thing By Releasing The Technology and The Natural Remedies That Would CURE ALL Diseases and Disabilities. They Have To Eat and Humans Are Their Food Source.
