For generations of kids, her voice was unmistakable.
Mindy Cohn has been the voice of Velma in "Scooby-Doo" for more than two decades. Before that, she won hearts as Natalie on the classic sitcom "The Facts of Life."
But behind the scenes, she's been fighting a much tougher battle.
In 2012, Mindy was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. The cancer kept spreading and coming back, and it took five long years before she was finally declared cancer-free in 2017.
Then, this year, cancer came back into her life.
Mindy kept it private while she went through treatment. But in April, she finally shared an update with her fans.
In a photo from her hospital bed, she smiled at the camera and gave a big thumbs up.
She told fans she "had to go kick cancer's a**" for the second time.
She thanked her doctors and nurses for taking care of her, and said she'd be resting and recovering for a couple of weeks.
And then?
"Ready for my next adventure," she wrote.
Fans flooded her with love, many saying Velma had always been the smartest and toughest one in the gang.
Now, she's proved it in real life too.
