People need to realize that the term “legally dead” doesn’t mean biologically or really actually dead. They created this term because once a patient is declared legally dead, the patient loses all rights and the surgeons who remove the organs which is actually what kills the patient, cannot be held accountable on murder charges.
It’s the same as when the law allowed people to enslave other people of certain races, the law made it legal, but that never meant it was right or ethical.
