not as a metaphor.
literally.
samael wrote it plainly. when the body sleeps the ego leaves and travels in the fourth dimension. this is not a belief system. this is what the gnostic tradition has documented across centuries of direct inner experience.
you call it dreaming.
but dreaming is just unconscious astral projection.
the difference between a dream and a conscious out of body experience is not the event itself.
it is your level of awareness during it.
right now you leave every night and return every morning with almost zero memory of where you went or what you encountered. the soul departs through the head. this is why in the ancient mystery schools the head was called the gate. the natural exit point of the spirit.
and here is what the book of wisdom maps out clearly.
the astral plane is the fourth dimension. it is the world where thought forms exist. where mental images take shape. where beings and entities that have no physical body actually live.
when you dream and encounter something frightening. you did not imagine it.
you tuned into it.
because in the astral plane you only encounter what matches your frequency.
a mind running on fear attracts fear-based entities.
a mind that has done the inner work moves through those planes with clarity and intention.
this is what jesus walking on water actually means.
the water is the etheric plane. the veil between the physical world and the astral. walking on water is not a miracle of physics.
it is a metaphor for conscious astral projection. moving across the planes without sinking back into unconscious fear.
when peter loses focus and begins to sink. that is the moment fear pulls consciousness back into the body.
this is exactly what happens to most people the first time they begin to project consciously.
the moment awareness kicks in. the moment you realize you are out. the body snaps you back.
here is how to begin working with this practically.
1. lie flat. no limbs crossing. full body relaxed from feet to skull.
2. breathe slowly. deep in through the nose. long out through the mouth.
3. quiet the mind completely. observe every thought that surfaces. do not follow it. watch it and let it pass.
4. when the body reaches the edge of sleep. keep your awareness alert. this is the threshold.
5. imagine pulling a rope upward above you. hand over hand. feel the motion without moving physically.
6. do not be startled when you begin to feel the separation. that tingling. that vibration. that is the etheric body activating.
7. move slowly. stay calm. fear is the only thing that collapses the projection.
the pineal gland is the window through which the soul enters and exits the body.
samael called it the seat of the soul. the ancient kemetics called it the eye of horus. the window of brahma.
every mystical tradition on earth points to the same organ.
and every night. whether you know it or not. it opens.
the only question is whether you will be conscious when it does.
