Longtime American Idol Music Supervisor and her husband, found shot dead in home…

What’s weird about this is that American Idol has a long history of people dying…

1.  Robin Kaye - July 2025 (Music Supervisor) - Found dead in a double homicide with gunshot wounds.  

2.  Thomas Deluca - July 2025 (Songwriter) - Found dead in a double homicide with gunshot wounds.  

3.  Doug Kiker - March 2025 (Contestant) - Cause of death not specified.  

4.  Mandisa - April 2024 (Contestant) - Cause of death not specified.  

5.  C.J. Harris - January 2023 (Contestant) - Died from a heart attack.  

6.  Willie Spence - October 2022 (Contestant) - Died in a car accident.  

7.  Nikki McKibbin - October 2020 (Contestant) - Died from a brain aneurysm.  

8.  Haley Smith - September 2019 (Contestant) - Died in a motorcycle crash.  

9.  Leah LaBelle - January 2018 (Contestant) - Died in a car accident.  

10.  Rickey Smith - May 2016 (Contestant) - Killed in a car crash by a drunk driver.
