Scientists Unthaw 41,000 Year Old Siberian Worms And Some Are ALIVE Question: WHY?

 

Russian scientists found 300 prehistoric worms in Siberian permafrost, and they were able to revive two of them. 

One worm was estimated to be around 32,000 years old, while the other was estimated to be 41,700 years old. 

After being frozen for thousands of years, these ancient worms began moving and eating shortly after thawing.
