They are using him figuratively as a Middle finger to the MAGA base that has basically kicked them both to the curb.
Why?
Because they both cracked under pressure and showed themselves to be weak. As soon as it came to standing by Donald Trump who they built their names from they couldn't stand the heat.
Now they are openly praising a man who tried to overthrow a governor in 2013. A man who wants everything that the MAGA base would consider Kamala Harris policies for New York City.
