Born And Raised In New York City Job Corp Has Been Around Since I Was A Kid. As A Child I Remember Hearing About Children Who Were Sent There To Give Them Opportunity To Learn Useful Trades That Would In Turn Improve The Quality Of Their Lives And Provide Them With Stable Employment.
I Reasearch A lot Of Trumps Policies And I Have A Good Idea Of What's Really Taking Place Behind The Scene. For The Most Part I Support Trump Because His End Goal Is To Improve The Quality Of Life For ALL Americans.
However When It Comes To Abruptly and Pulling The Rug From Under The Feet Of At Risk Children Who Need and Depend On Job Corp's Support and Services Without Providing Them With A Back Up Plan and A Safety Net I Don't Understand The Logic With This Decision and I Have To Give Trump The Side Eye On This.
Maybe There Is Some Hidden Misdoings Within Job Corps Administration That Warrant An Immediate Shut Down Of One Of The Oldest Facilities That Cater To At Risk Youth, But At Least Give The Children and Their Parents Something To Fall Back On.
Thousands Of Kids Were Abruptly Told To Pack Up Their Belongings and Their Parents Were Unexpectedly Called and Told To Pick Their Children From Job Corp.
Most Of These Parents Have Nothing To Offer Their Children That Would Take The Place Of Job Corp. Some Kids Look At Job Corp As Their 'HOME' Because Their Families For Whatever Reason Are Not Part Of Their Lives. What Happens To Them, Where Are They Going To Live, Who's Going To Mentor and Look Out For Them?
For The Trump Administration To Shut Down An Organization That Catered To At Risk Youth For Over Half a Century Without A Foreseeable Back Up Plan Their Has To Be Some Really Dire Emergency That Has Not Yet Come To Light.
