Some Days I Feel Like A Child I Want To Be Allowed To Have An Tantrum To Release My Anger, Frustration, Fear, Confusion, Sadness, Depression. If I Snapped And Had Adult Tantrum Unlike A Child Who'd Get Sent To His/Her Room Til' He/She Calms Down, I'd Be Thrown In A Mental Hospital, Labeled as a Psychotic Lunatic and Placed On Brain Altering Drugs.
We Are Living In DANGEROUS Times and Adults Are Supposed To Carry The World Upon Their Shoulders and Still Function In A Normal Fashion Regardless Of What's Taking Place In Their Home Or Outside Their Front Door Of Their Homes.
Hold Sacred Whatever Brings You Peace, Joy and Stillness. Before You've Reached Your Point Of Breaking Down Mentally Physically Travel Too or Visualize The Place and Space That Brings You Stillness, Joy and Inner Peace.
Because No Matter What's Going On In or Outside of Your Home It Will Be There Tomorrow. If You Have A Family Make Sure Your Kids and Spouse Are Have What They Need Are Safe And Then Concentrate On YOU.
Whether You Are Male/Female Its' Vital That YOU Take The TIME For A Mental Health Break At Least A Few Times A Month. Don't Get It Twisted You Don't Have To Literally Pack Up And Go Somewhere If You Choos Not Too or If Money Is Tight.
You Can Go Into An Empty Room In Your Home, Close The Door, Put Your Ear Pods On, Find A Comfy Spot To Sit or Lay and Listen To Your Favorite Musical Playlist, Podcast, YouTube Nature Video etc. The Goal Is You Are Doing Something To Help You Unwind, Relax and Distress.
Me, I'm A Gamer and When I Feel Tension and Stress Taking Over I Log Into My Favorite Trucking Game and I Get On The Virtual Highway and Make Deliveries.
I Am Physically Disabled, So In Real Life I Can Not Drive, But It Doesn't Mean I Don't Have a Desire To Drive, I Just Can't, But Through My Simulation Games I Can Drive A Truck. Being On The Virtual Road Driving My Truck Releases So Much Of My Stress, Anxiety, Fear and Anger.
Once I Put On My Headsets The Outside World No Longer Exist To Me, Yeah I'm Still Aware Of My Surroundings and What's Going On Around Me, But My Focus Is Driving My Truck and Making My Pretend Money. Don't Laugh I am An Instructor Now.. (Smile)
I Also Enjoy Playing The Game Called 'The Sims.' I've Been Playing The Sims For 25 Years Since They First Started. Creating Families On The Sims Releases Alot of Stress Because In Get To Rule The Lives Of The Little People.
I Treat My Sims Very Well. I Also Enjoy Building, Designing and Decorating Homes On The Sims. Most Times I Play The Game In Build Mode. I Started A Project A Few Years Ago Where I Use The Sims Build Mode To Build Replicas Of All Homes I've Lived In Throughout My Life. When I'm In Build Mode I'm In My Zone and Nothing Matters. Using My Creativity is A Form of Therapy For Me.
Over The Past 10+ Years Of Doing The Work I Do Online I've Had To Create Ways For Me To Unwind, Relax, Find My Peace and Regroup When I Need A Mental Health Break.
I Am Grateful That I Created A Peaceful Space For Myself Especially During These Crazy Times We Are Living In. Be It In, Outdoors or Both Create A Space/Place That Brings You Tranquility, Comfort, Peace and Happiness.
As Adults We MUST Respect and Honor Our Boundaries and Limits. Regardless Of What's Going On In This Chaotic World We MUST 'SAFELY' Take Care Of Our Mental Health In Whatever Way We Feel Is Best. There Is No Shame In Taking A Mental Health Break, The Shame Comes When You Ignore Your Mental Health Needs.
