Alien Abductions And 'Off Planet' Slave Labor of Humans Has Been Ongoing Since Before The 20th Century. During The 1940's The American Government Signed Treaties With Various Alien Species and They SOLD OUT The American Public In Exchange For Alien Technology. Once All Treaties Were Agreed Upon and Signed Aliens Began Abducting Humans and Shipping Them Off To Other Planets. 

Off Planet Humans Were Used For Breeding Purposes, As a Food Source, For Medical Purposes and Fo Slave Labor. At Some Point Human Abduction Were Supposed To End, But The Treaties Were Conveniently Breached and The Alien Abductions Continue Today.  Each Year an Uncountable Amount of People Go Missing In America, Most of The People Who Go Missing Are Abducted and Very Few of Them Are Returned To Earth. 

I Imagine Alien Abductions Are Happening  Throughout The World and Governments In Other Countries Have Signed Similar Treaties With Various Alien Species. To Alien Species and The Governments Here On Earth Humans Are Viewed as Expendable Pawns In This Horrific Game of Tic Tac.
