The rulers after the takeover want nothing but plunder and absolute stability—no more need for any radical movements.
The big strikes grind to a halt; all the equality slogans vanish overnight.
The scholars, activists, and gay rights advocates who once charged into battle are shipped off to exile en masse, locked in prisons, lined up for execution.
