Awaken You Are
There are depths in the soul of a person
traits that defy all reason.
But when we are granted the grace to see beyond the surface,
we find a legacy, woven into the strands of their being,
etched into the quiet code of their DNA.
Not placed there to burden them,
but to offer them a sacred chance
a doorway to renewal.
All that we learn in this life
carves itself into the shape of who we are.
And even beyond this life,
it echoes on,
into the form we are yet to become.
The true task is to draw wisdom from what we've lived,
to let every scar become a root,
every lesson a branch reaching for the sky.
So our roots grow deep,
and the ancestors who crossed the bridge before us
stand tall in our shadow, proud.
Our aim is to strengthen this tree of life
so no hand may ever cut it down.
