Japan Just Approved Frequency Therapy as a Recognized Medical Treatment. The United States Still Classifies It as "Experimental."
In March 2026, Japan's Ministry of Health officially added pulsed electromagnetic field therapy to its national health insurance coverage. This means any Japanese citizen can now receive frequency-based treatment at a hospital and have it covered the same way as surgery or medication.
The approval followed a 7-year clinical study at Kyoto University involving 4,200 patients with chronic pain, bone fractures, and inflammatory conditions. Results showed a 67% reduction in recovery time compared to pharmaceutical-only protocols.
Japan is not the first. Germany has covered PEMF therapy since 2014. Switzerland added it in 2019. Israel uses it in military rehabilitation. South Korea approved it for post-surgical recovery in 2022.
The United States has not approved a single frequency-based therapy for general medical use. The FDA still requires devices to carry the label "not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."
Five countries are healing with frequencies. One country is still debating whether frequencies work.
The difference is not science. The difference is $1.48 trillion in annual pharmaceutical revenue.
