Did You Know Formaldehyde Is An Ingredient In Mc Donald's Fries? Well Now You Do

Okay I didn’t know this. American Health and Nutrition, Vani Hari explains how formaldehyde is used in McDonald’s French fries, but only in the US version

“Formaldehyde, a neurotoxin in the US version. This is used as a foaming agent, so they don't have to replace the oil that often making McDonald's more money here in the United States, but they don't do that across the pond” (overseas)

Formaldehyde is a known human carcinogen. Prolonged exposure can lead to respiratory problems, skin irritation, and increased cancer risk, particularly nasopharyngeal cancer
